One of the commitments of the Hope Center is to provide outlets for the youth of central Ohio to live the dream of a hopeful life. We attempt to provide these outlets through events throughout the year, after school programming, summer programming and forming effective relationships. Contact the Next Generation Director (nextgendirector@hopecenterohio.org) if you have any questions, want to learn how to get involved and or want to partner financially with the dream for the Next Generation. Next Generation activities include:

B.U.O.Y. Youth Mentoring Ministry
“B.U.O.Y.” -- Building Up Our Youth -- is a mentoring ministry that matches adults with youth between the ages 12 and 18. Pairings are based on common interests and schedule availability, with a plan to meet in approved settings in the community at least twice each month.

Mentors establish friendships with youth through any number of one-on-one or small-group activities including homework help, goal setting, “hanging out” and talking, progress accountability, emotional support, and social outings.

Interested in serving as a mentor or in need of a mentor for a youth in your life? Please contact Linda Schwyn at mentoring@hopecenterohio.org.

Union County Art Club
The Union County Art Club has been created to promote and sustain a community-based visual arts program designed to provide access to quality instruction and artistic growth. While we are still in our beginning stages, we hope to develop into a year round art academy. For now, we will conduct art classes weekly on Wednesdays beginning June 6 at 1 pm to 2:30 pm at the Hope Center in Marysville

If you would like to sponsor a child to begin the classes, your tax deductible donation can be made to the Hope Center in Marysville Ohio, with “Union County Art Club” in the memo. Any gift will help us get paper, pencils, paint, canvas, etc. in the hands of children who want to learn!
