Community Kitchen To-Go Meals We need those who are able to assist in passing out meals during this time. Please check your temperature and if it is is above 99.4 or you have been around anyone who are sick or if you are high risk please do not come. Your temperature will also be checked on arrival. Magnetic Springs Community Market (30 Magnetic Springs St. in Magnetic Springs)Your job is to assist packing boxes and helping pass out groceries for those in need. You will need to be on your feet and carry a box of food. Please do not come if you have been exposed or have had any symptoms of any sickness. You will need to wear a face covering. Furniture Bank We need furniture movers! We are looking for those who are able to help lift couches or furniture and work well with others.Get details and sign up.

Restored 61 There is a need for volunteers to help learn how to help in the Clothing Store. Ages 16 and older. You will “shadow” other volunteers which may include the front desk, bagger, greeter, organizing and possibly sorting clothes if needed. Our goal is to train up to 30 volunteers! Vibrant community relationships come to life through our many Hope Center volunteers -- our community driving all our good work.

Young people, professionals, retirees and families all contribute and enhance their own quality of life by giving back -- giving back over 15,000 volunteer hours annually.

Some of the Hope Center ministries that rely on volunteers are:
  • Community Kitchen
  • Furniture Bank
  • Youth Programs like BUOY, Refuge open gym Tues- Fri from 3 to 6
  • Cleaning from 9 to 3 Monday through Friday
  • Donation Team
  • Restored 61 Clothing Ministry
  • Receptionist opportunities for 3 hour shifts
Community service partnerships have also been established with:
  • West Central Correctional Facility
  • Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW)
  • Adecco Staffing Agency
  • Department of Job & Family Services (DJFS)
  • Local Businesses (Providing professional volunteer services)
The Hope Center is happy to provide meeting space for various community support groups. Please email Tisha Miller at community@hopecenterohio.org to inquire if you would like your group to meet at the Hope Center.

Here 4 Hope sponsors the Survivors or Suicide and Sudden Loss. The group meets the third Monday of every month, 6:00 TO 7:30 P.M., at Memorial Hospital. No appointment or phone call in advance is necssary.
